John Kraft is a solo practitioner focused on appeals and post-conviction relief, along with select criminal and intellectual property litigation. He brings substantial experience from handling a high volume of felony cases, serving as an Assistant District Attorney in the Augusta Judicial Circuit, where he represented the State on appeal and in post-conviction proceedings, and serving as an officer in the U.S. Army JAG Corps. He also served as chief law clerk to the Chief Justice of the Kansas Supreme Court, gaining firsthand insight into how appellate courts evaluate and decide cases. He earned his law degree from New York University School of Law and graduated magna cum laude from Georgia State University.
